Adding RT Welder Penalty

  • To enter RT Welder’s Penalty, there are 2 ways:
    • To enter it while rejecting the Joint and this is mentioned above in RT Rejection.
    • To enter it Later on by selecting RT Report with Rejected Joint, clicking on “Penalty” icon within grid view which will be enabled in this case as described below.

 

  • Log in to the system.
  • From the Upper bar in Home Page, Click on “Workflow” Link 1 which will open a form containing a summarized Workflow of the system.
  • Click on the “RT” button.
  • You will be redirected to “RT Report” window which contains a textbox to display all/any RT Report within the system along with “add”, “Delete”, “Print”, “Add Joint” and “Return” buttons.
  •  “Auto Complete” Functionality is used to Select RT Report.
  •  Select a RT Report.
  •  All Joints within the selected RT Report are displayed within a grid view each with icons “View Details”2 , “Accept” 8, “Reject”1, “Reshoot” 2and “Penalty”3.4
    • If “Accept” icon within joints grid view looks like1, the Joint is already accepted within the selected RT Report and its status is “Closed” and thus, “Reject” and “Reshoot” icons are disabled2. In this case, Penalty icons 3and7 are disabled as well.

     

    • If “Reject” icon within joints grid view looks like , the Joint is already rejected within the selected RT Report and its status is “Open” and thus, “Accept” and “Reshoot” icons are disabled 3.

     

    • If “Reshoot” icon within joints grid view looks like 3, the Joint is already reshoot within the selected RT Report and its status is “NDE” and thus, “Accept” and “Reject” icons are disabled . 2In this case, Penalty icons 3 and 7 are disabled as well.

     

    • To enter or modify a welder’s Penalty, Clicking on “Penalty” icon 7.
    • A panel “Welder Penalty” will be displayed to enable you to enter a new Welder’s Penalty or modifying an already existing one.
    • Within the Welders grid view, the already entered Penalty is displayed above a textbox which is used to select a new Penalty.4
      • Joints that can be added as Penalties must follow certain Criteria:
        • Joint must be welded by the Welder in question.
        • Joint’s status must be “NDE” and Prepared for RT.

       

      • To display welder’s Penalty details, Click on “Penalty” icon3 .
      • A “Penalty Details” panel is displayed.5
