Rejected RT Report

  • Log in to the system.
  • From the Upper bar in Home Page, Click on “Workflow” Link 1 which will open a form containing a summarized Workflow of the system.6
  • Click on the “RT” button.
  • You will be redirected to “RT Report” window which contains a textbox to display all/any RT Report within the system along with “add”, “Delete”, “Print”, “Add Joint” and “Return” buttons.
  •  “Auto Complete” Functionality is used to Select RT Report.
  •  Select a RT Report.
  •  All Joints within the selected RT Report are displayed within a grid view each with icons “View Details”2, “Accept”8, “Reject”1, “Reshoot” 2and “Penalty”3.
  • “Penalty”3icon is disabled unless Joint was rejected within the selected RT Report.8
  • Clicking “View Details”2icon, a window is opened where selected Joint’s detailed data is displayed along with joint’s welders and a grid view filled with operation made on the joint
  • Clicking “Reject” icon1, a “Rejection Details” panel will be displayed to enter the Rejection information such as Reject date, Reject Reason, defect Length and Penalty.
  • If selected Joint is of Type Socket, a “Rejection Penalty Option” panel is displayed.2
  • Select the number of Penalties selected joint requires and then click “Save”, a “Rejection Details” panel will be displayed to enter the Rejection information such as Reject date, Reject Reason, defect Length and Penalty.2
  • Select Type of Defect. Then, Enter Reject Reason, defect Length and Welder’s Penalty.
  •  Clicking “Save”, Data is saved, Joint rejected and Joint’s status is “Open”.
  • If tried to save without entering defect Length, an error message is displayed.
  • If tried to enter letters in defect Length, an error message is displayed
  • Penalty and Reject Reason is not a must.
  • Welder’s Penalty 1 cannot be the same as Welder’s Penalty 2.
  • A Joint to be added as a Welder’s Penalty has to follow the Coming criteria:
  • Joint was welded by the Welder.
  •  Joint in ‘Closed’ and ‘Accepted’ Status.
  •  Joint was not used as a Penalty before.
  • Clicking “Cancel” button within the panel, Panel disappear and Joint’s status is not changed.
