Weld Joint

  • You can display “Weld Joint” main window via “Work Flow” link within the upper bar in Home Page or via “Weld Joint” link within Quick Links.
  • Log in to the system.
  • From the Upper bar in Home Page, Click on “Weld Joint” Link 4 within Quick Links. Window “Weld Joint” is displayed.
  • Or, From the Upper bar in Home Page, Click on “Workflow” Link  5which will open a form containing a summarized Workflow of the system.6
  • Click the “Weld” button.
  • You will be redirected to the “Joint Weld” window which contains 3 main tabs; “All Joints Ready to Weld”, “Get Joints via Area and “Edit Welded Joints”.
  • “All Joints Ready to Weld” is activated by default.
  • A grid view containing all Joints waiting to be weld is displayed.
  • Within displayed grid view, Icon “Weld”7which is used to weld selected joint.8
  • Click icon “Weld” 7within the grid view, a Window “Welding Joint” will be displayed with All Joint’s detailed information.9
  • An “Auto Complete” control is used to help you select welders to weld the joint.
  • Welder list is filtered according to selected joint’s WPS.
  • Select Weld date and add Welders. Clicking button “Save”, Joint’s status will be changed to “Welded”.
  • Clicking “Get Joints via Area” tab, a new window is displayed where there is a textbox to help you select Line/Tank with the help of “Auto Complete” functionalities.9
  • Selecting Line/Tank, all data related are displayed such as; Sheets, Spools, Drawing NO, Pipe Class and Main Size, along with a grid view filled with joints ready to be welded.
  • Line/Tank’s Sheets and Spools are displayed within dropdown lists. Spool dropdown list is filtered according to selected Sheet.
  • Joints grid view is filtered according to selected Sheet and Spool.
  • Within displayed grid view, Icon “Weld”7which is used to weld selected joint.
  • Click icon “Weld”7within the grid view, a Window “Welding Joint” will be displayed with All Joint’s detailed information.11

  • Selecting Line/Tank, all data related are displayed such as; Sheets, Spools, Drawing NO, Pipe Class and Main Size, along with a grid view filled with all welded joints and a filter control to search for a certain Joint within the grid.
  • Line/Tank’s Sheets and Spools are displayed within dropdown lists. Spool dropdown list is filtered according to selected Sheet.
  • Joints grid view is filtered according to selected Sheet and Spool.
  • Within displayed grid view, Icons “Edit Welders”3and “Edit Date”3 .
  • Click on “Edit Date”3 icon within the grid, a panel is displayed to modify the Joint’s welded date.
  • Click on “Edit Welders”3 icon within the grid, a panel is displayed to modify the Joint’s Welders.
