Editing Line/Tank Details

  • After Logging on to the system, click on the “Area / Project” Link 13 from the Quick Links Menu.
  • An “Area / Project” window will be opened, with all the Projects (Areas) within the system displayed within a grid view.
  • For each Area there is a “Select” icon 2which displays all Lines within this Project (Area).
  • Click on the “Select” icon.
  • A grid view containing all Lines/Tanks within the selected Project (Area) is displayed with “Add” button just above it.2
  • Click the “Edit” icon 3within the Line/Tank grid view.
  • A new window “Edit Line” is opened with this Line’s details; ” Line/Tank No.”, “Drawing No”, “Service”, “Main Size”, “Pipe Class”, “System” and “Revision”.
  • Sub Area, Service and Pipe Class are displayed within a dropdown Lists each.
  • “Sub Area” dropdown List is filtered according to the Line’s Area.
  • All Line/Tank Sheets are displayed within Sheets grid view giving you the ability to update or delete any sheet, to display Sheet file and to delete Sheet’s Spool.
  • There is also “Add Sheet” button to add a sheet for the selected Line/Tank.3
  • Clicking on “Return” button, you will be return to the “Area / Project ” Main Screen and the Line/Tank new details will not be added.
  • Clicking on “Save” button, the Main Screen “Area / Project ” will be reopened and the Line/Tank new details will be displayed for you.
  • Clicking on “Reset” button all the entered data will be cleared for the selected line.
  • Clicking on “Joint” you will be redirected to “joint list” screen to add new joint for the selected line.
  • Deleting Line/Tank

  • Clicking on icon “Delete”  4within the above mentioned grid view, all the Line/Tank Information will be deleted from the system.
  • If there are Sheets within this Line, this Line/Tank will not be deleted and a message “This record cannot be delete because it has related data” will be displayed for you.

    Adding Sheets to Line/Tank

  • Sheets are part of a Line/Tank which in turn is Part of Projects (Areas); so first you should identify the Project/Area for a certain Line/Tank, then Line/Tank for the Sheet.
  • Same Sheet cannot be added twice to the same Line.
  • A sheet is unique per each Line. For each sheet there are Spools.
  • A Spool id unique for each sheet; Sheet cannot contain two spools with the same Spool Code.
  • After Logging on to the system, click on the “Area / Project” Link  from the Quick Links Menu.
  • An “Area / Project” window will be opened, with all the Projects (Areas) within the system displayed within a grid view.
  • For each Area there is a “Select” icon which displays all Lines within this Project (Area).
  • Click on the “Select”2 icon.
  • A grid view containing all Lines/Tanks within the selected Project (Area) is displayed with “Add” button just above it.
  • Click on the “Select” icon, another grid view is displayed with all Sheets within selected Line along with “Add Sheet” button.
  • You will find that the Selected Area and the selected Line within it are highlighted with different Color.5
  • Click “Add Sheet” button.
  • The window “Edit Line/Tank” will be opened with the selected Line/Tank details, all Line/Tank Sheets displayed in a grid view, “Add Sheets to Line/Tank” panel and buttons: “Return”, “Reset” and “Save”.
  • The panel “Adding Sheets to Line/Tank ” is displayed to allow you to add new sheets to the selected Line/Tank.6
  • Enter Sheet No and Revision, and then browse for the Sheet file.
  • Clicking “Add Sheet” button within the panel, a new sheet is added to the new Line/Tank.
  • Sheet No is a must.
  • You can add any number of sheets to the new Line/Tank.
  • If you entered the same Sheet No and Clicked the “Add sheet” button in the panel, a message “Sheet No cannot be repeated in the same Line/Tank NO” will be displayed.
  • After adding sheet, you have the ability to add spool to it, Edit or delete it.
  • Clicking on “Save” button within “Edit Line/Tank” window, the “Project/Area” Main Screen will be displayed with the Line/Tank new Sheets displayed within Sheets grid view.7
  • For each Sheet within the grid view there is a “Select”2 icon ,”Edit”3 icon and “Delete”4 icon .
  • Clicking on the Select icon will redirect you to “Joints” main window with all Joints within selected Line/Tank displayed.
  • Clicking Edit icon, a window is displayed to edit selected Sheet’s data.
  • Clicking Delete icon, selected Sheet will be deleted if there are no Joints within it.
  • For each sheet there are Spools. A Spool id is unique for each sheet; Sheet cannot contain two spools with the same Spool Code.
  • Thus, within the grid that display the selected Line/Tank Sheets, and for each sheet there is another grid with the spools of this Sheet.
  • Modifying Sheets:

  • For each sheet there are Spools. A Spool id unique for each sheet; Sheet cannot contain two spools with the same Spool Code.
  • Thus, with the grid that display the Line/Tank Sheets, and for each sheet there is another grid with the spools t.of this Shee7
  • For each Sheet within the grid view there is a “Select” 2icon ,”Edit3” icon and “Delete” 4icon .
  • Clicking on the Select icon will redirect you to “Joints” main window with all Joints within selected Line/Tank displayed.
  • Clicking Edit icon, a window is displayed to edit selected Sheet’s data.
  • Clicking Delete icon, selected Sheet will be deleted if there are no Joints within it.
  • Click the “Edit”3 icon within the Line grid view.
  • An “Edit Sheet” window is displayed with selected Sheet details.
  • You have the ability to modify in any of the Sheet’s data; Sheet No, Revision or Sheet File.
  • You also have the ability to add or delete any Spool
    within the selected Sheet.2
  • To add a new spool to the selected Sheet, enter Spool Code.
  • Then, Click on “Add Spool” Link.
  • If you enter a duplicated Spool Code an error message is displayed.
  • If you clicked on “Add Spool” Link without entering Spool Code, a message “Enter Spool Code” will be displayed.3
  • Clicking on “Return” button will return you to the “Project/Area” Main Screen and the sheet’s new details will not be added.
  • Clicking on “Save” button, the Main Screen “Project/Area” will be reopened and the sheet’s new details will be displayed for you.4
    • You will find that the Selected Area, the selected Line/Tank within it, and the selected Sheet are highlighted with different Color.
    • Clicking on icon “Delete” 6 will delete the entire sheet’s Information from the system.
    • If there are Spools within this sheet, this sheet will not be deleted and a message “sheet cannot be deleted. Sheet has Spools “will be displayed for you.
