Reassign Sheets

  • After Logging on to the system, click on the “Data Cleaning” Link1  from the Quick Links Menu.
  • A “Data Cleaning ” window will be opened with a menu displayed within the Left panel of the window.
  • The displayed menu is divided into 3 categories:
  • Data Entry containing items:  “Line/Tanks”, “sheets”, “joints”, “Welders”, “Alloy Line/Tanks” and “Delete Line/Tanks/joints”.
  • NDE Reports containing items: “VT”, “RT”, “MT”, “PT”, “UT” and “Other report”.
  • RT Rejection containing items: “Edit RT Rejected” and “Edit Rejection Welders”.
  • Clicking Item “Sheets” within Data Cleaning menu6 , a Line/Tank number textbox is displayed.
  • Enter Line/Tank Number.
  • A grid view with all sheets within the selected Line/Tank will be displayed each with “Reassign” and “Delete” icons, and “Sheet File” icon to display the Sheet’s file if there is any.
  • If the selected Line/Tank does not contain any sheets, a message “No sheets related to the selected Line/Tank Found” will be displayed.7
  • Clicking on “Reassign” icon5 within the grid view, an “Assign New Line/Tank” panel will be displayed that helps you select a new Line/Tank for the Sheet.
  • There is also AutoComplete functionality that helps you selecting Line/Tank Number.8
  • Select the new Line/Tank.
  • If you select the same Line/Tank, a message “Kindly select another item” will be displayed.
  • Clicking on “save” icon, Sheet will be reassigned to the selected Line/Tank.
  • There is also the ability to Combine Sheets.
  • Clicking “Combine” icon within the grid, “Combine sheet’s joints” panel is displayed.9
  • Select the destination sheet and then click “Save”.
  • The source sheet is deleted from the system and all its joints are copied to the destination sheet.
  • If there is a joint within the destination sheet with the same joint no, it is not copied and the sheet is not deleted.
